The Community Alliance 4 Youth Success, in partnership with local law enforcement, hosts several Dump Your Drugs events throughout the year. These events are a hassle-free way for community members to drop off their unused/expired prescription medications and over-the-counter drugs. In addition, there are permanent drop boxes located at the Midland County Law Enforcement Center, the Michigan State Police post (Freeland) and Coleman Family Pharmacy. Let's work together to keep our community safe!

Dump Your Drugs – National Take Back Event

The Legacy Center, the Midland Police Department, and MidMichigan Health are hosting a Dump Your Drugs event at the Midland County Law Enforcement Center (Nickels Street side) on October 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This drug take back program aims to provide a safe, convenient, and responsible means of disposing of prescription drugs, while also educating the general public about the potential for abuse of medications. MidMichigan Health also will be accepting "sharps" for disposal at this event.
